Rise Launch Players With Purpose Program

Today the Grand Rapids Rise announced its Players with Purpose ticket program, which allows fans to purchase tickets to the remaining home matches for the 2024 Rise season while supporting nonprofits and community organizations around West Michigan personally selected by star Rise players Claire Chaussee, Sarah Sponcil, and Ashley Evans.

Beginning today, the three previously mentioned players will have a unique ticketing link for fans to purchase tickets and support the organization of their choice. For every ticket purchased using the unique link, the Grand Rapids Rise will donate $5 to the organization chosen by the Rise player.

"Our fans have quickly developed a deep passion and love for the Rise and its players. They've followed our matches, cheered for our team, and become part of our extended volleyball family. Now, we're excited to introduce a new program that allows Rise fans to connect even more with their favorite players. Through this initiative, they can contribute to the causes and issues that Rise players passionately support. This not only strengthens our community but also creates meaningful changes beyond the game," said Vice President of Ticket Sales and Digital Marketing, Matt Batchelder.

Currently, this program is established for the remaining three home matches for the Rise 2024 season. This Rise program plans to carry over into the 2025 season.
