The Grand Rapids Rise proudly introduced the Players with Purpose program at the end of the 2024 season. Fans could purchase tickets for a regular season match at Van Andel Arena and support a worthy cause selected by their favorite Rise player. Each ticket bought via the provided links included a $5 donation to the player's chosen organization.
Causes supported in the past include the Kent County Animal Shelter, Mary Free Bed Wheelchair and Adaptive Sports, Women of Color Give, Side-Out Foundation, Once Upon a Room, Revive & Thrive Project, and HAS HEART.
