CBS Sports Network To Televise Three Rise Matches

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Three upcoming Grand Rapids Rise matches – two at home and one on the road – will be televised by CBS Sports Network, as announced by Pro Volleyball Federation on Wednesday. A total of 10 League matches will be aired on CBS Sports Network to kick off a multi-year broadcast agreement, including seven regular-season matches plus the League’s semifinal and championship matches in May.

The Rise’s three appearances on CBS Sports Network, tied for most in the League, include their home match against Orlando on Saturday, April 6, a visit to Omaha on Friday, April 26, and their regular-season finale against Omaha on Sunday, May 12 at Van Andel Arena. The final two telecasts will feature time changes from the original schedule, as the April 26 road match will start at 9:30 p.m. EDT instead of 8 p.m., and the finale at home will begin at 5:30 p.m. instead of 4 p.m.

The seven regular-season matches being aired by CBS Sports Network include:

  • Saturday, April 6: Orlando at Grand Rapids, 7 p.m. EDT
  • Friday, April 12: San Diego at Columbus, 7 p.m. EDT
  • Sunday, April 21: Atlanta at Orlando, 2 p.m. EDT
  • Friday, April 26: Grand Rapids at Omaha, 9:30 p.m. EDT
  • Sunday, April 28: Vegas at Atlanta, 2 p.m. EDT
  • Saturday, May 4: Omaha at Columbus, 7:30 p.m. EDT
  • Sunday, May 12: Omaha at Grand Rapids, 5:30 p.m. EDT
