Pro Volleyball Federation Announces CBS Sports Network Regular Season Telecasts

Pro Volleyball Federation has unveiled its schedule of regular season matches set to air on CBS Sports Network. The broadcasts, live and exclusive to CBS Sports Network, will include seven regular season matches and culminate with postseason action featuring both semifinal contests as well as the championship match.

The slate will begin on Saturday, April 6 when Orlando travels to Grand Rapids. It will continue with six more matches in the following weeks, ending with the league’s regular season finale on May 12 when Omaha travels to Grand Rapids.

“We’re thrilled to provide this additional exposure to our outstanding players as we build the largest platform volleyball has seen in this country,” boasted Pro Volleyball Federation CEO Jen Spicher. “We are excited to partner with CBS Sports to reach a national audience. Pro Volleyball Federation is the future of professional volleyball in America and CBS is a natural partner for us.”

Each Pro Volleyball Federation team will be featured in at least one telecast as part of the schedule, with Grand Rapids and Omaha leading the league with three appearances each. This year’s slate is part of a multi-year agreement with CBS Sports.

The semifinals and title match of the Pro Volleyball Championship in May will also be aired as part of this agreement. Details on the championship weekend will be announced at a later date.
