Elise McGhee was drafted by the Mojo in the fifth round of the 2024 PVF Draft. She spent four seasons at Baylor University, earning AVCA All-America Honorable Mention honors in 2024. She was a two-time All-Big 12 First Team selection (2023, '24) and named a 2024 AVCA All-Southwest Region honoree.

During her career with the Bears, McGhee has played 104 matches (355 sets), tallied 1,126 kills (3.17/set) and was been a force on the service line with 77 aces. She added 360 digs and 169 blocks while totaling 1,297.50 points (3.65/set).

The San Antonio native was named to the 2021 Big 12 All-Freshman Team and earned CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors in 2022 and 2023.
