Professional Experience

Omaha Supernovas (2026)

• Signed with the Omaha Supernovas on the second day of MLV Free Agency (August 8, 2025). 

Columbus Fury (2025)

• Spent her first pro season in the U.S. with the Fury where she appeared in 43 sets while posting 38 kills, 35 blocks, 17 digs and five aces for 78 points. 
• Had one of her best matches of the season in Columbus' five-set loss to the Supernovas where she had eight blocks and hit .333 with six kills for 14 points. 

Criollas de Cagua (2024)

• Was a force at the net, being selected as the Puerto Rican League Blocker of the Year with 1.18 blocks per set. 

College Experience

Miami (2019-2023)

• 2022 All-ACC First Team, 2021 & 2023 All-ACC Second Team.
• 2021 AVCA All-American Honorable Mention.
• 2021 & 2022 AVCA All-Region selection.
• Ranks third for highest attack percentage all-time (.334), sixth for most solo blocks (41), second in block assists (456), third in most total blocks (497), fourth in blocks per set (1.22).

High School/Personal

• Youngest of six children and daughter of Jose and Lucia Leao. 
• Her parents emigrated from Cape Verde on the west coast of Africa. 
• Attended New Bedford High School in Massachussets where she finished her volleyball career with 956 kills on a .474 hitting percentage alongside 213 blocks and 85 aces.
