  • Her incredible defensive play against Vegas on May 6 reached No. 2 on SportCenter’s Top 10 highlights.

  • Competed on the Puerto Rico National Team in the 2016 Olympics.
  • Helped guide Puerto Rico to Silver in 2014 Central American & Caribbean Games.
  • Silver medal at 2016 Pan American Cup.
  • Bronze medals in 2014 and 2017 Pan American Cups.
  • Competed with Puerto Rico in three world championships (2014, 2018, 2022) including a silver medal at the 2021 NORCECA Championship, earning “Best Setter” accolades.

College Career

Florida International (2007-2010) 

  • She was part of the first trio in FIU history to be awarded AVCA All-America honors along with Jovana Bjelica and Yarimar Rosa.
  • Left program as all-time leader in assists (4,413) and second in digs (1,100).
  • Three-time All-Sun Belt conference selection.
  • Valentin-Anderson and Rosa were teammates on the Puerto Rican National Team.
