  • Payne will play professionally in the United States for the first time when coming to Omaha  
  • Spent time in some of the top leagues in the world 
  • Was third in the Italian A2 league with Città Di Messina in 2023-2024  
  • Has played for Sigorta Shop (Turkey), Gimcheon Korea Expressway Hi-Pass (South Korea), VC Kanti Schaffhausen (Switzerland) and EC Pinheiros (Brazil) 

College Experience 

  • Kansas (2014-2017))  
      • One of the best players in Kanas Volleyball history  
      • No. 1 in KU history in career kills (1,510), Kills per set (3.63) and attacking percentage (.334) 
      • No. 2 in Points Per Set ( 4.15) and No. 11 in total blocks (351)   
      • One of three Jayhawks all-time to have at least 1,300 career kills and 300 career blocks  
      • Three-time AVCA All-American including two times on the first team (2016, 2015)  
      • Named Big 12 Player of the Year in 2016 after averaging 3.98 kills, 1.99 digs and 0.98 blocks per set.  
      • Spent two seasons with current Supernovas Head Coach Laura “Bird” Kuhn when Kuhn was an assistant coach for KU.  

International Career

  • Competed with team USA at the 2016 Pan American Cup, July 2-10, 2016 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. 
  • Member of the U.S. Collegiate National Team-Europe that captured the gold medal at the 13th European Global Challenge.
