Rainelle Jones

A veteran of Major League Volleyball, Rainelle Jones returns to the Columbus Fury for the 2026 season after playing for the Fury during the inaugural season in 2024 and the San Diego Mojo in 2025. Last season, Jones played in 10 matches (26 sets) with five starts. She registered 31 kills, three blocks and four service aces with a .179 hitting percentage and 37% kill percentage. During the 2024 season with the Fury, Jones played in all 24 matches with 17 starts and 69 total sets played. She recorded 85 kills, 35 blocks, 28 digs and nine service aces for the Fury.

Prior to coming to Major League Volleyball, Jones played one season for Pallavolo Pinerolo of the Italian Serie A1 league in 2022-23.

The University of Maryland product concluded her Terrapin career as the program's all-time leader in total blocks (718) and block assists (654) and finished as the NCAA active leader in career block assists and total blocks. Jones appeared in 146 matches career and 538 sets and ranked third in all-time in Big Ten history in block assists and fifth in total blocks. During the 2021 (1.73) and 2022 (1.59) seasons, Jones led the NCAA in blocks per set.
