Abby Walker returns to the Columbus Fury for her second season in 2026 after she was selected with the 32nd overall pick of the 2024 PVF Draft. Walker was the team leader in blocks as a rookie last season and was the only Fury player to compete in all 28 matches with a team-high 99 sets played. She led the team with 38 blocks, while adding 138 kills and contributing 60 digs and six service aces. Walker had a season-high 10 kills on 18 attacks in a five-set match against Grand Rapids. She had a pair of matches with four total blocks, contributing to wins over Indy and Grand Rapids.
The Cambridge, Ohio native was named the Freshman of the Year in the American Athletic Conference in 2021, the second ever Cincinnati Bearcat to earn the award. Over the course of her Cincinnati career, Walker compiled 1,026 kills, 355 blocks, 275 digs and 105 aces. She played in every match in the final three seasons of her career and during her senior season in 2024 was named second team All-Big 12.
Walker went to John Glenn High School in Cambridge, Ohio and played on the 2018 and 2019 OVR High Performance Teams and contributed to the bronze medal finish in 2018 at Tulsa and the gold medal finish in 2019 at Ft. Lauderdale.
