Wilma Rivera joins the Columbus Fury for the 2025 season after playing with the Orlando Valkyrie in 2024. A Puerto Rico native, she is no stranger to the Midwest, playing volleyball at both Penn State University and the University of Louisville. Rivera was only eight years old when she started playing volleyball, and it became a lifelong passion. She is a member of the Puerto Rico National Team and has played professionally around the world. Rivera has a close relationship with her parents and two brothers and loves it when they can attend matches to support her. When she isn't playing volleyball, Rivera enjoys being outside, and jamming out to everything from Beyonce to Bad Bunny.

- Acquired from the Orlando Valkyries where she played 1 season from 2023-2024
- Played 6 professional seasons internationally in Puerto Rico, Sweden, France and Germany
- Competed for the Puerto Rican National Team where she was named Best Server for the World Olympic Qualification (2024) and MVP at the Women’s Noreca International Final Four (2023)

- At the University of Louisville (2017-2019), she led her team to win the ACC Championship (2017) and was named ACC Setter of the Year (2017), All-ACC First Team (2017), AVCA All-East Region Team (2017), and All-American Honorable Mention (2017)
