Kate Georgiades joins the Columbus Fury for the 2025 season. The College Station, Texas native was named the 2023 Big 12 Conference Libero of the Year with the University of Houston in 2023 and is a two-time American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American Honorable Mention honoree. She started in all 29 matches with the Cougars during her senior season in 2023 leading the team in digs in 23 of 29 matches and aces in seven matches. She paced the Cougars with 452 digs and 4.35 digs per set and was tied for second on the team with 28 service aces. She earned double-digit digs in 25 matches and 20 or more in seven matches. She finished her college career fifth on Houston’s career digs list with 1,791.
