Beta Dumancic joins the Fury for the 2025 season. The veteran middle blocker was signed as a free agent from her native Croatia. Dumancic previously played professionally for nearly decade in various clubs throughout Europe, including Zanetti Bergamo (now Volley Bergamo) in Italy’s Serie A1 League, widely considered one of the oldest and most prestigious women's national leagues in European volleyball.
Dumancic started playing volleyball at 13, when doctors suggested to her parents that she take up a sport after she had experienced a growth spurt. She tagged along to her cousin's volleyball practice and never looked back. It's the only sport she has ever played and she enjoys being able to mentor younger athletes.
Off the court, Dumancic loves reading, traveling, and experiencing different cultures.
