Professional volleyball is the largest untapped opportunity in pro sports in the United States. Investors, broadcast networks, established professional team owners, sponsors and others within North America’s sports landscape have all noticed the potential of volleyball as a pro sport - and Major League Volleyball has showed it in the league's first three seasons.
- Major League Volleyball (MLV) is the longest-running formal professional volleyball league in the United States, entering its fourth season in 2027.
- During the 2026 season, Major League Volleyball surrpassed the one-million mark for total attendance in its history.
- The league has averaged nearly 4,000 fans per match in its history.
- MLV plays in some of the largest markets in the nation – with all eight teams in 2026 located in the top 45 DMAs in America. Four are in the top 25 and in 2027, Major League Volleyball will add four more ranked in the top 20.
Prior to its the first serve of MLV's inaugural season, the league attracted team owners from all walks of life, and will always be open to welcoming the right owners to the league to expand further in markets throughout the United States.
