NORCAL WELCOMES LOS GATOS NATIVE TORI DILFER-STRINGER
NorCal is bringing one of its own back to the Bay Area. MLV NorCal announced the signing of setter Tori Dilfer-Stringer, a Los Gatos native who brings experience from the collegiate, professional and international levels.
Dilfer-Stringer built a decorated collegiate career at the University of Louisville, becoming the program's first-ever First-Team AVCA All-American in 2021. A two-time ACC Setter of the Year, she helped lead the Cardinals to an undefeated regular season and the program's first NCAA National Semifinal appearance.
Following her collegiate career, Dilfer-Stringer took her game to the professional stage, competing with Athletes Unlimited and internationally in Italy and Puerto Rico before joining Major League Volleyball, where she played for the Atlanta Vibe and Columbus Fury.
She has also represented the United States internationally, including competing with the U.S. Women's National Team during the 2023 Volleyball Nations League and earning medals with Team USA at the Pan American Cup and Pan American Cup Final Six.
Dilfer-Stringer returned to Louisville in 2025 as an Offensive Consultant, helping develop the program's offensive systems and athletes.
Off the court, Dilfer-Stringer comes from a family with deep ties to sports as the daughter of Super Bowl-winning NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer, and became a new mother in September 2025 with the birth of her daughter, Merritt.
Now, her volleyball journey brings her back to Northern California. A Los Gatos native and former Valley Christian standout, Dilfer-Stringer returns to the Bay Area to join MLV NorCal ahead of the team's inaugural 2027 season at Tech CU Arena in San Jose.
