MLV Minnesota Names Kameron Johnson Strength and Conditioning Coach

SAINT PAUL, Minn. — MLV Minnesota General Manager and Head Coach Pedro Mendes today announced that Kameron Johnson has been named the teams strength and conditioning coach. 

 

Johnson brings extensive experience in athletic training to MLV Minnesota. He currently owns and operates KJFitCo and AllSznTraining in Eden Prairie, where he trains amateur, collegiate, and professional athletes. Prior to that, he served as an athletic trainer with Life Time Fitness for eight years.  

 

“Kam is experienced in getting the most out of the athletes he works with,” said Mendes. “In addition to his expertise in strength and performance training, he specializes in recovery and longevity techniquesAdding Kam is an investment in our players. The MLV schedule is very challenging, and it was important to us to have someone who can help our athletes navigate the season and stay healthy while performing at their highest level.” 

 

Johnson attended Gardner-Webb University, where he studied communications and psychology and was a member of the university's football team. 

 

“I am grateful for the opportunity to work with MLV Minnesota and its players,” said Johnson. My goal is to help the players be their best when their best is requiredI also want to help them build long, healthy careers by understanding the critical role fitness, recovery, and overall wellness play in athletic performance. 

 

A Minneapolis native, Johnson is a 2006 graduate of Burnsville High School. He and his wife, Bailey, have three children.
