Heading into its 2026 Championship, Major League Volleyball has announced seven of its nine individual season awards. Four of the eight MLV squads had at least one major award winner with the Indy Ignite taking home four honors.
Two more awards remain to be announced – Major League Volleyball MVP and Coach of the Year. Both of those accolades will be revealed as part of the 2026 MLV Awards Ceremony on Friday, May 8 in Frisco, Texas.
Indy was the lone team with multiple honorees – Mia Tuaniga (Setter of the Year), Lydia Martyn (Middle Blocker of the Year), Elena Scott (Libero of the Year) and Azhani Tealer (Opposite Hitter of the Year). Tuaniga finished second in the league in assists per set at 11.49 and registered 25 aces. Martyn’s 49.8 percent kill percentage ranked No. 2 in MLV. Scott registered 360 digs while Tealer was among the league leaders in points (338), kill percentage (45.1) and kills (302).
The Dallas Pulse’s Mimi Colyer gets the nod as Outside Hitter of the Year. The Pulse star averaged 5.08 points and 4.52 kills in 2026 to lead the league in both categories.
The Omaha Supernovas claimed the Rising Star Award, as Kiara Reinhardt was recognized. She finished the season ranked in the top 10 in Major League Volleyball for kill percentage (43.1) and efficiency (.327).
Aiko Jones of the Atlanta Vibe has been recognized with the Most Inspirational Player Award. The Vibe opposite hitter is deeply committed to giving back as she actively engages in Vibe community initiatives and serves as an assistant coach at Bellarmine University in the offseason. A vocal and steady leader on the court, she uplifts others as she celebrates teammates’ successes and offers encouragement in challenging moments.
The MLV Championship will take place this week at the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased for all sessions, semifinal Thursday only or the championship “Match For A Million” on Saturday.
