McGraw brings championship-level experience and deep Minnesota volleyball roots to the organization
SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota Sports & Entertainment and MLV Minnesota announced today that CC McGraw has been named an Assistant Coach. McGraw was most recently an Assistant Coach at the University of Louisville from 2023 to 2026 and brings an impressive resume of collegiate coaching and playing experience to MLV Minnesota.
McGraw helped the University of Louisville Cardinals reach the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in both 2023 and 2024. In her first season in 2023, the Cardinals earned their highest national ranking at No. 2 and finished the year ranked No. 6.
“I am thrilled to welcome CC to our coaching staff. Her integrity and deep knowledge of the game are crucial to building a culture that players trust and feel supported by,” said General Manager and Head Coach Pedro Mendes. “Just as important, she is a local leader who understands volleyball in Minnesota at every level and is deeply committed to the sport’s growth. That commitment aligns perfectly with one of our core goals as an organization.”
A Prior Lake, Minnesota, native, McGraw was a standout player at the University of Minnesota from 2018 to 2022, finishing her career as the school’s No. 3 all-time leader in digs. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology and her master's degree in sports and exercise science.
