ORLANDO, FL — The Orlando Valkyries, reigning 2025 Major League Volleyball Champions, have officially named Erin Olson as an assistant coach on Head Coach Amy Pauly’s staff ahead of the 2026 season.
A native of Cary, Illinois, Olson brings a wealth of experience both on and off the court. She began her collegiate career at Bradley University before transferring to UCF the following year. With the Knights, Olson played a key role in helping UCF capture back-to-back American Athletic Conference Championships in 2018 and 2019. She capped her collegiate career with an invitation to the 2020 U.S. Women’s National Team Spring Training Camp.
After concluding her collegiate career, Olson transitioned into coaching, joining UCF’s staff in the spring of 2022 as the Director of Volleyball Operations and performance analyst. She played key roles in both the 2022 American Athletic Conference Championship season and the program’s transition into the Big 12.
Olson served as the Technical Coordinator for the Orlando Valkyries in 2024 and joined the active roster in early February for the 2025 squad. She made her Major League Volleyball debut on February 20 against the Vegas Thrill.
For the past eight years, Olson has coached the next generation of athletes throughout the Orlando community, including in her current role with Top Select Volleyball Academy, and now moves into the professional ranks as a coach.
