ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 7, 2025) – Just moments after the 2025 MLV free agency window opened, the Orlando Valkyries re-signed middle blocker Natalie Foster to officially kick off the 2026 season.
“Any time you have the opportunity to retain someone as talented as Natalie, you’ve got to find a way to make it happen,” said head coach Amy Pauly. “She came in as a rookie last year and did an unbelievable job with what she was asked to do, and I’m super excited to see her take that year-two leap.”
Well known for her high velocity serves, Foster returns to the Valkyries for a second season after being drafted 14th overall in the 2024 PVF Draft out of SMU. During her rookie campaign, Foster set a league record for most service aces in a single season with 64, as well as ranking third in the league in hitting efficiency (.355) and kill percentage (.445) en route to winning a championship in her first professional year.
Foster, who is serving as an assistant volleyball coach at Kansas Wesleyan during the offseason, always felt like coming back to Orlando was a no-brainer. “Re-signing with the Valkyries was an easy decision. The culture, the people, and the direction we’re headed made it feel right.”
