ATLANTA, Ga. (August 19, 2025) – Starting August 22nd, two Atlanta Vibe players will represent their countries in the FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship in Thailand. Outside hitter Pia Timmer competes for the German national team and libero Britt Rampelberg competes for the Belgian national team.
Streamed on VBTV, 32 countries fight for the international title. Similar to the World Cup, the world’s national volleyball teams compete against one another to claim the World Champions title.
Each country is placed into a pool of four teams, having eight pools in total. Germany is placed in Pool G, lined up against Poland, Vietnam, and Kenya. Belgium is placed in Pool B, matched up against Italy, Cuba and Slovakia.
