LAS VEGAS (May 9, 2025) – No. 3 will meet No. 4 at the 2025 BIC Soleil Pro Volleyball Championship after third-seeded Orlando downed the second-seeded Atlanta Vibe, 3-1. The Valkyries join the No. 4 seed Indy Ignite in Sunday’s Match for a Million after Orlando advanced with set scores of 25-18, 25-23, 18-25 and 25-16.
Orlando has now won six matches in a row overall with the victory and has captured wins in seven of the last eight outings. The Valkyries and Ignite split the season series, 2-2, during the 2025 campaign.
Opposite hitter Brittany Abercrombie paced the Valkyries with 24 points and 22 kills and chipped in 13 digs. Outside hitter Lindsey Vander Weide finished with 13 points on 12 kills and 13 digs. Chompoo Guedpard contributed 46 assists.
Atlanta was paced by Micaya White with 22 points on 20 kills. Outside hitter Leah Edmond ended the match with 18 points and 16 kills. Marlie Monserez had 34 assists for the Vibe.
The Valkyries and Ignite will face off as the 2025 BIC Soleil Pro Volleyball Federation Championship continues on Sunday at Lee’s Family Forum.
