Abercrombie, Banwarth Headline Awards Gala

Pro Volleyball Federation capped the run-up to Sunday’s Match for a Million by announcing two major award winners on Saturday. Orlando Valkyries star Brittany Abercrombie was named the PVF’s Most Valuable Player while Atlanta Vibe coach Kayla Banwarth has been honored with the Franklin Sports Coach of the Year Award.

Abercrombie, who earned PVF All-League and Opposite Hitter of the Year accolades earlier this week, led the Valkyries to their first PVF postseason appearance this season. Orlando finished 18-10 on the year as Abercrombie set PVF records for kills, kills per set, attacks and points in 2025.

In her first season in Atlanta, Banwarth helmed the Vibe to their second PVF Championship berth as the squad finished 19-9, which included a PVF-record 13-game winning streak during the second half of the season.

The Pro Volleyball Federation Match For A Million will take place Sunday at 1 pm PT at Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson, Nev.
