COLUMBUS, Ohio— The Columbus Fury (6-15) head to Vegas to take on the Thrill (8-12) after defeating the Indy Ignite (12-9) (25-21, 25-20, 21-25, 25-23) at home last Saturday. The match will take place at 7 p.m. ET at Lee’s Family Forum. The match will also be streamed on Fox Sports 2.
Coming off their Saturday night victory over the Indy Ignite, the Fury look to carry that momentum on and start a winning streak. The Fury broke a franchise record in that match, totaling 16 blocks in four sets. Kaylee Cox and Abby Walker lead the charge, tallying four blocks each. When the Fury hosted the Thrill on March 14, they swept Vegas (25-22, 25-21, 25-23). In the teams’ first matchup of the season on February 17, the Fury emerged victorious in four sets (25-20, 25-20, 22-25, 25-21).

The Thrill enter the match against Columbus after being swept by the Grand Rapids Rise (9-12) (17-25, 16-25, 17-25) on Saturday, April 5th. The Thrill are on a three match losing streak going into Sunday’s game. The Thrill’s Morgan Stout is second in the league in kill percentage (46.1%) and fourth in overall attack percentage (.346). Hannah Maddux is sixth in the league in kills with 251 and averaging 3.69 kills a set. She’s also sixth in the league in overall points with 289, averaging 4.25 points a set.

Columbus faces Vegas for the third matchup of four of the 2025 season. In their previous matchup at home on March 14, the Fury swept the Thrill. Columbus seeks their third victory against Vegas this season.
