ATLANTA, Ga. (March 25, 2025) This past weekend, the Vibe headed to Downtown ATL for two matches. The Vibes inside? Electric.
With over 8,000 fans in attendance across the weekend, the Vibe secured two more wins, increasing their win streak to eight straight wins. This moved the Vibe up in league wide rankings, putting the team in second place heading into the final few weeks of the season.
The matches brought out some ATL favorites, including Atlanta Dream players Allisha Gray and Rhyne Howard, who did the Honorary first serve, as well as Mayor Andre Dickens, who also delivered an Honorary First Serve during the 404 Match on Sunday. Other notable figures in Attendance were Atlanta United player Jayden Hibbert, teacher Jere Chang, blogger Chelsea Olivia, content creator Morgan Tolley (@atllovesmo), Bachelor star Thomas Nguyen, artist Andy Mineo, former MLB outfielder C.J. Stewart, and USA Volleyball Head Coach Erik Sullivan. In addition, many coaches from top programs were in attendance, including NCAA National Championship coach Craig Skinner of the University of Kentucky.
After the matches, the Vibe hosted an autograph session with all fans in attendance. Each and every fan had their opportunity to meet the whole team, creating lifelong memories for Vibe fans. In addition, many players from last weekend’s Big South tournament were in attendance as well, allowing young players the chance to see the future of women’s volleyball in action, futures many of them hope to have.
