The first ever Pro Volleyball Federation All-Star match was on full display in front of a sellout crowd in Fishers, Indiana and it did not disappoint. Team Shondell defeated Team Collier 47-40, as the league’s top players joined together for a special night.
The format for the All-Star match was different than most matches, with the first two sets going to 25, and the third set only up to 15. The scoring format for the All-Star match was also quite different, as it used total points, which are service aces + kills + blocks, to determine the winner.
Brittany Abercrombie and Adora Anae were tabbed starters of Team Collier, with Abercrombie leading Team Collier with eight kills on a .353 hitting efficiency, as well as recording two digs and one block. Anae notched three kills and two digs on the night.
Kaz Brown and Pornpun Guedpard came off the bench in set two for Team Shondell and made their mark, as Guedpard posted 10 assists and two digs. Brown had two digs and one block in the action.
