ORLANDO, Fla. - The Orlando Valkyries are excited to announce its finalized roster for the upcoming 2025 season, which begins with the home opener against the San Diego Mojo on Thursday, January 9 at Addition Financial Arena at 7 p.m. ET.
Orlando’s roster features a balance of returning players and newcomers, geared to provide a competitive edge towards the upcoming season. Only 14 players are allowed on an active roster, with two additional spots designated for practice squad players.
The Orlando Valkyries 2025 roster includes the following athletes:

Of the 14 roster spots, the Valkyries will return six players from last season’s squad, highlighted by Middle Blocker of the Year and PVF All-League second-team honoree Kaz Brown. She was second in the league in blocks (68) and second in hitting percentage (.333) last season, showcasing her dominance both offensively and defensively. Libero Georgia Murphy also returns from last year’s squad, as a valuable defensive piece, leading the league in digs (379).
Nine newcomers will join the Valkyries in 2025, with five of them coming via free agency and four being drafted from the 2024 PVF draft. Notable additions include opposite hitter Brittany Abercrombie, champion of Athlete’s Unlimited in 2024, and setter Pornpun Guedpard, a highly regarded setter with nine years of professional experience.
Of the notable draftees, the Valkyries selected Norah Sis, an outside hitter from Creighton University, with the third overall pick. Sis was selected to the All-BIG EAST team four times and was named Preseason BIG EAST player of the year in 2024.
