SAN DIEGO – San Diego Mojo of the Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF), the premier women’s professional volleyball league in North America, has outside hitter Jenaisya Moore and signed libero Kamaile Hiapo ahead of Thursday’s 2025 season opener, the team announced on Monday.
Moore was selected in the fourth round and 28th overall by the Columbus Fury in 2023 PVF Draft. In 2024, she appeared in 20 matches and 40 sets, scoring 65 points with 54 kills, nine blocks and two service aces. The Germantown, Md. native played four seasons at Ohio State (2019-22) before finishing her collegiate career at Tennessee (2023). She totaled 804 kills with the Buckeyes, where she was a Big Ten All-Freshman Team in 2019. At Tennessee, she was tabbed to the VolleyballMag.com All-America Third Team and was honorable mention for the AVCA. She was also an All-SEC selection and to the AVCA Southeast All-Region Teams.
Hiapo was chosen by the Atlanta Vibe out of BYU in the third round (20th overall) of the 2023 PVF Draft by the Atlanta Vibe. In 2024, she helped the Vibe to the first-ever PVF Regular Season title, appearing in 21 matches (47 sets) and tallying four service aces. Collegiately, Hiapo played four seasons at Arizona (2019-22), twice earning All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention accolades for the Wildcats, before spending her final season with BYU in 2023, where she earned AVCA Southwest All-Region Team honors.
San Diego kicks off the season against the Valkyries inside Additional Financial Arena this Thursday, Jan. 9. The game will broadcast live on FS2 with first serve at 4:00 p.m. PT.
The Mojo opens the 2025 home schedule at Viejas Arena on Thursday, Jan. 16 at 7:05 p.m. against Orlando. San Diego will play all 14 home matches at Viejas Arena on the campus of SDSU, as well as 14 road matches during the 2025 campaign.
