COLUMBUS, Ohio— The Columbus Fury (0-1) continues the 2025 regular season on Thursday, January 16th when they travel to face the Atlanta Vibe (1-1) at 7 p.m. inside the Gas South Arena. Tickets can be purchased here. The match will also be streamed on YouTube.
The Columbus Fury returns to action after falling to the San Diego Mojo 3-1 (18-25, 25-21, 19-25, 22-25) in the 2025 season opener. The match is the first road game of the season for the Fury who finished the 2024 regular season 2-10 away from the Buckeye state.

The Vibe enter the match against Columbus after sweeping the Vegas Thrill (1-1) 25-13, 25-22, 25-20. Atlanta hit .262 in the sweep, led by Middle Blocker Khori Louis, who finished with nine kills on 11 attempts. Opposite Hitter Merritt Beason tagged 14 kills in a three-set match, hitting a .286. The Vibe put up strong defensive efforts, totaling 53 blocks as a team. Three Vibe players broke into double digits in digs for the three-set match: Outside Hitter Leah Edmond tallied 11 digs, Libero Morgan Hentz tallied 10 digs, and Outside Hitter Pia Timmer grabbed 10 digs as well. Speaking of defense, the team leads the Pro Volleyball Federation in opponent hitting percentage keeping their opponents to 15.9 percent through two games.
SERIES HISTORY
Columbus returns to Atlanta for the first time since May of 2024 where they lost 3-0 (21-25, 19-25, 18-25). The Fury went 2-2 against the Vibe in 2024 but earned both of those wins at home. Columbus will seek their first victory against Atlanta since April 19th, 2024, their first victory on the road in Atlanta, and their first win of the 2025 regular season on Thursday evening.
