Outside hitter Symone Abbott completed her first season with the Grand Rapids Rise during the inaugural 2024 Pro Volleyball Federation campaign and has re-signed with the franchise for the upcoming 2025 season. A starting rotation player during the first half of the season, Abbott amassed 147 points during the regular season with 131 kills (.173). She also had 123 digs, 11 blocks, and five aces in 17 matches (55 sets). The seven-year veteran played one set in the postseason against the Omaha Supernovas and recorded three digs.
