2024 Player In Review: Alyssa Jensen

Middle blocker Alyssa Jensen completed her first season with the Grand Rapids Rise during the inaugural 2024 Pro Volleyball Federation campaign and has re-signed with the franchise for the upcoming 2025 season. Jensen featured in 13 matches (31 sets) throughout the regular season and picked up 46 points (24 kills, 19 blocks, and three aces). She started seven consecutive matches from March 9 through April 6 and strung together three straight matches with four blocks. Jensen didn’t make an appearance during the two Rise postseason matches.

March 4, 2024: Knocked down her first professional kill in 3-2 loss at the San Diego Mojo, finished the road match with four kills (.300) and two digs.
March 26, 2024: Season-high five kills (.182) and second consecutive match with four blocks, as the Rise went on the road and upend the Vegas Thrill in four sets.
March 28, 2024: Third straight match with four blocks, while also adding three kills and her first ace of the season. Omaha, however, prevailed by set scores of 27-25, 20-25, 30-28, 25-22.
