Atlanta Vibe libero Morgan Hentz has been continuing to train in the Pro Volleyball Federation’s off-season with the U.S. National Team. Most recently, Hentz was named to the U.S. Women’s National Team as an alternate for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and has been competing with the team at the Volleyball Nations League (VNL).
“It’s amazing to have this chance to represent my country at the highest level alongside the best players in the world,” said Hentz. “The experience I’m gaining with Team USA is invaluable and I will never take these kinds of opportunities for granted.”
Hentz’s extensive experience with USA Volleyball includes competing with the team at the VNL in 2022 and 2023. Continuing to be invited back, Hentz has made her mark on the national level. The team has played various national teams – beating Bulgaria, France, Netherlands, and Japan in the tournament so far, having played in Arlington, Texas, Bangkok, Thailand, and Fukuoka, Japan this season. USA Volleyball’s next match is the quarterfinals against Italy at 6 p.m. EST on Friday, June 21.
We cheer Hentz on as she plays on the international stage, competing with the top athletes in the volleyball world. Watch the USA Volleyball team in the VNL quarterfinals on Friday here.
