Thrill Drops Monday Match Versus Vibe, 3-0

HENDERSON Nev. - The Vegas Thrill (5-11) dropped a 3-0 decision (21-25, 18-25, 23-25) to the Atlanta Vibe (13-4) on Monday night at the Lee’s Family Forum.


Atlanta took the first set by a score of 25-21, then followed with a 25-18 win in the second. Vegas fought hard to stay alive, but the Vibe would close out the match with a 25-23 victory in the final frame.


Outside hitter Gabby Gonzales led the Thrill offense with nine kills, while outside hitter Hannah Maddux collected eight and middle blocker Berkeley Oblad finished closely behind with seven.


Haddux led the back court defense with 10 digs, while libero Kylie Murr and Gonzales each recorded nine. Setter Alisha Glass Childress gathered a team-high 31 assists and six digs.
