San Diego Mojo (8-9) vs. Vegas Thrill (6-13)
The San Diego Mojo and Vegas Thrill will play for the fourth time and final time this season when the teams square off in San Diego on Friday. The Thrill lead the season series 2-1, sweeping the first meeting in Las Vegas on February 19 and winning in five sets in San Diego on February 29, while the Mojo swept the last match on the road on March 24 in what was the first road victory and sweep in franchise history. Since the last time the teams met, the Mojo have a 5-3 record while the Thrill have lost five of six matches. First serve on Friday is set for 7 p.m. PT.

San Diego Mojo Outlook
San Diego enters play on Friday winners of six of their last nine matches, including a 3-1 mark at home. Last time out, the Mojo topped the Omaha Supernovas in five sets, San Diego’s league-record fourth consecutive five-set match. San Diego had a quartet of players collect double-doubles, led by Temi Thomas-Ailara, who scored a match-high 27 points, recording 22 kills, four blocks and a service ace while also tallying 17 digs. In her home debut, Willow Johnson scored 18 points (14 kills, three blocks, one ace) with 15 digs, and Lindsey Vander Weide scored 16 points (11 kills, five blocks) and had 14 digs. Nootsara Tomkom continued her stellar play, dishing out 50 assists and registering 18 digs. Ali Bastianelli equaled her Mojo record with seven blocks and had six kills, scoring on six of 12 swings (50 percent), and Shara Venegas had a match-high 23 digs and added five assists.

Thomas-Ailara is averaging a team-leading 16.7 points per match, the fifth-best mark in the league, and Ronika Stone (9.7) and Vander Weide (8.6) rank 16th and 20th in the PVF, respectively, while Johnson has averaged 14 points per match in her first two contests.

Bastianelli and Stone are tied for the team lead with 34 blocks, while Hannah Tapp has 24. Tapp leads the team with a spike ratio of .430 and Stone ranks second with a spike ration of .387.

Tomkom ranks second in the PVF averaging 10.85 assists per set, one of four players in the league averaging double-digits, and her 716 total assists are fourth overall. Shara Venegas has collected 258 successful digs this season, the fifth-most in the league, while Tomkom is 10th with 225 digs.

Vegas Thrill Outlook
Led by head coach Fran Flory, Vegas arrives in San Diego after dropping their last match at home to Grand Rapids in four sets. The Thrill are 4-5 on the road this season but have fallen in their last two. Hannah Maddux and Khat Bell lead the Thrill scoring effort, averaging 11.4 and 11.3 points per match, respectively. Alisha Glass Childress is averaging 10.82 assists per set, the third-best mark in the league, and ranks second with 790 total assists, while Kylie Murr is third in the PVF with 280 total digs.
