ATLANTA, Ga. (March 26, 2024) – The Atlanta Vibe (9-4) take on the Columbus Fury (5-5) for the second time in four days on Wednesday, March 27 at Gas South Arena. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m. locally on Peachtree Sports Network (ATL 17.2) and nationally on YouTube.
Columbus defeated Atlanta in four sets on their home court on Sunday (March 24), snapping the Vibe’s five-match win streak. Setter Marlie Monserez finished with a season-high 50 assists as the team put away 59 kills in the match, and Monserez made it a double-double with a team-high 16 digs - her 7th on the year.
Prior to Sunday’s match, the Vibe promoted outside hitter Alli Linnehan off the Injured Reserve (Short Term) list and waived outside Kacie Evans to put her on the team’s practice squad. The Fury added opposite Nikoleta Perović out of Montenegro and Olympian outside hitter Michelle Bartsch-Hackley ahead of the match, just a week after acquiring setter Tori Stringer in a trade with Atlanta.
