LAS VEGAS, Nev. (March 3, 2024) – The Atlanta Vibe (5-3) are in Las Vegas to face the Thrill (3-5) on Monday evening at Dollar Loan Center, with first serve set for 7:00 p.m. PT (10:00 p.m. ET) live on YouTube.
Vegas will be the Vibe’s first new opponent in more than three weeks as they face off for the first time on Monday. The Thrill are 3-5 this season after defeating the San Diego Mojo 3-2 on Thursday (2/29). San Diego is just one of two teams the Thrill have beaten so far this year, sweeping them in another match and defeating the Omaha Supernovas in their first match of the season in five sets.
The Vibe are coming off a sweep over San Diego on the road on Saturday (3/2), and Monday’s matchup marks Atlanta’s third in only five days. Two players finished with 20+ points in the sweep: Leah Edmond had with 23 (22 kills, 1 ace), and Anna Lazareva finished with 22 (20 kills, 1 ace, 1 block). Setter Marlie Monserez tallied 40 assists in the three-set match, which marked Atlanta’s second sweep of the season (both came against the Mojo).
