GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After gathering all the front office and roster pieces over the last 12 months, the Grand Rapids Rise will bring everyone together next week for the first time as a collective team.
The Pro Volleyball Federation franchise will hold a three-day mini-camp, with practices being held Tuesday (Dec. 5), Wednesday (Dec. 6) and Friday (Dec. 8) from 1-4 p.m. each day at the MSA Fieldhouse (5435 28th Street St. Ct. SE).
“It’s hard to believe that we are finally here and the mini-camp is fast approaching,” said Rise head coach Cathy George. “It’s been over a year of hard work, making this a reality. As the team arrives, there is a new form of excitement to begin this journey. It’s going to be awesome to see how this team comes together. We finally get to see how everyone’s strengths blend together as we make plans for our championship run.”
Fourteen players are expected to report for the Rise mini-camp.
