San Diego Mojo to Make Viejas Arena Home

SAN DIEGO, CA – The San Diego Mojo, the area’s newly-minted women’s professional volleyball team, announced Viejas Arena as its home for its inaugural 2024 season. 

Located on the campus of San Diego State University, Viejas Arena is the home of San Diego State Basketball and hosts university functions, cultural events, concerts, and other special-event programming. It features a unique open-air concourse design that allows fans to enjoy the excellent San Diego climate and adds a new experience to attending arena events.

The team also announced that it will begin taking deposits for season tickets for the 2024 season on December 1, just in time for holiday gifts. Season ticket deposits are just $50 per seat and allow fans to reserve the best seats at Viejas Arena for the upcoming season.

The Mojo open their 2024 home schedule on Friday, February 23, 2024 against the Grand Rapids Rise. The Mojo start the season on the road with the team’s first match on Thursday, February 1 at the Atlanta Vibe.

Pro Volleyball Federation is the premier women’s professional volleyball league in North America. The San Diego Mojo are one of seven teams to participate in the league’s inaugural 2024 season, with additional teams already announced for the 2025 season.

Owned in part by five-time Olympian Kerri Walsh Jennings, the Mojo recently wrapped up their first minicamp and now turn their attention toward training camp in advance of the 2024 season. Players report to camp on Saturday, January 7, 2024.
