COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Columbus Fury have added former Buckeye volleyball player, Kylie Randall, as VP of Marketing and Communications. A native of Houston, Texas, Randall will provide leadership and support to all internal departments to deliver value and integrate a consistent marketing message through all external forms of communication including paid media campaigns, team digital/social channels, email communication, game entertainment, retail offerings and overall brand look/feel.
“I’m grateful for the historic opportunity to help pave the way for not only the professional game but women’s sports in general.” said Randall, “The Columbus Fury and the Pro Volleyball Federation provides a new horizon for women in professional sports.”
“Introducing a new sports organization is a major task,” said Dr. David Paitson, CEO of the Fury. “We’ll look to Kylie to help us build a consistent look and message, while ensuring the alignment of our brand’s aesthetic and intangible aspects. Given her creativity, passion for volleyball, as well as her analytical talents in collecting and interpreting data, we couldn’t have found a better caretaker for the Fury brand.”
Earning her bachelor’s degree in Communication Analysis and Practice was only part of Randall’s Buckeye experience. She played on the women's volleyball team, was a Scholar-Athlete, a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, and was named Academic All-Big Ten. Randall was most recently with the U.S. Council for Athletes’ Health in Marketing and Graphic Design.
The Columbus Fury will begin play at Nationwide Arena in early 2024. For more information about the Fury and season tickets, visit www.columbusfury.com and @columbusfury on social media.
